Our 1st Annual Pickleball Tournament will be held 11 April 2026 at The Hangout in Fort Smith.
Spaghetti Dinner
We held a Spaghetti Dinner in partnership with The Girls Shelter in November 2025.
Charity Golf Tournament
The Optimist Club participates annually in the Championship Fore Charities Golf Tournament, which supports Girls, Inc, Fort Kids Children's Museum, and other local charities. The 2024 tournament was held on October 14 at the Hardscrabble Country Club.
Fishing Derby
Members of the Optimist Club volunteered for the Boys and Girls Club Fishing Derby on April 13, 2024, helping hand out bait and tackle.
The Optimist Club will once again be volunteering at the Arkansas River Valley Nature Center on June 8. Bring out the whole family for fishing and fun. And don't forget to stop by the Optimist Club tent to say hi and pick up your live worms.

Softball Tournament
Our annual softball tournament is held at Hunts Park Field in May or April.
The Fort Smith Fire Department, Van Buren Fire Department, and Southwest EMS have been among the organizations fielding teams to support local youth charities.
